No, you don't need to buy multiple tickets. One ticket is valid for entry to both venues.

Can I get tattooed on the day, or do I need to book ahead?

You may be able to get tattooed on the day as we have many artists saving space for walk-ins, however we advise that if you are planning on getting tattooed you should book with the artist you'd like prior to the event to avoid any disappointment.

How do I book an appointment with a specific artist?

Check the artist list to see who’s attending, then contact them directly via their booking link/social media.

How much do tattoos cost at the convention?

Prices vary by artist, size, and design. Each artist sets their own rates.

Can I bring my own design for a tattoo?

Some artists may be willing to tattoo your own design or collaborate with you to create a unique design. We recommend contacting them in advance to arrange a project like this.

Is there parking at the venue?

No, due to the venue's limited outside space, we cannot offer parking to customers. However, we can recommend some nearby parking facilities within York.

Foss Bank Car Park - 6 Minute walk from Merchant Taylor's Hall

Bootham Row Car Park - 15 Minute Walk From Merchant Taylor's Hall

Marygate Car Park - 16 Minute Walk From Merchant Taylor's Hall

York also has a park-and-ride system, where you park outside the city and travel to the centre via public transport. We recommend checking this out as York can get quite busy with traffic during the festival.
